    The Sonora Medication Unit is located in the small historic community of Sonora California, along the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Our Sonora Medication Unit provides access to Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) medications methadone and buprenorphine (Suboxone) to patients receiving treatment and counseling at our Narcotic Treatment Program in Modesto. Patients living in Tuolumne County can receive their medication locally, making treatment more available and cost-effective.
