American Addiction Treatment Center Gloucester, located along US 17 (George Washington Memorial Highway), is about 10 minutes from central Gloucester, just south of White Marsh.

We provide licensed and accredited addiction treatment using medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and counseling to help adults in Gloucester County manage their abuse of opioids and prescription painkillers.

Following a clinical assessment, our compassionate team of addiction treatment experts at our outpatient treatment center provides prescriptions for methadone or Suboxone. The life-saving medications used in MAT help control cravings and reduce the risks of relapse and overdose. Research shows that medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the most successful treatment for adults addicted to opioids, heroin, synthetic opioids like fentanyl, and prescription painkillers oxycodone (OxyContin®), hydrocodone (Vicodin®), codeine, and morphine.

In conjunction with Medication-Assisted Treatment, we also provide individual and group counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Stages of Change, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and 12-step meetings. Patients also receive help with medication management, relapse prevention, and education on substance use disorders.

We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Anthem, United Healthcare, and other private insurance plans and provide services to the communities of Gloucester County, including Roanes, Ordinary, and nearby towns.
