We are here to help support those struggling with opiate addiction in a safe and supportive environment.  Our focus is on utilizing evidence-based counseling and addiction treatment. We provide our patients individual and group counseling in conjunction with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) such as methadone and suboxone. Our treatment team is here to help our patients in many areas of their addiction including developing healthy coping skills, relapse prevention skills, anxiety, and depression. We offer a collaborative treatment team approach to help the patient navigate through the stages of their addiction recovery.     One of the most sought-after components of opioid addiction treatment programs is medication-assisted treatment or MAT. You may be familiar with methadone clinics. We offer both methadone treatment and buprenorphine (Suboxone). Backed by more than 50 years of research, MAT when combined with other therapies has been shown to be effective in the treatment of opioid use disorder.

    At Aegis Treatment Centers in Pomona, CA we understand how vital these medications can be in helping to navigate recovery by easing the cravings and physical withdrawal from pain killers and/or heroin. Once you successfully detox, medications may continue to be used along with therapies specifically for your unique recovery needs and journey. Medications used at our Pomona location include methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone), and Naltrexone (Vivitrol).

    Our Pomona clinic is conveniently located on Garey Avenue just south of the 10 Freeway. Our treatment center is convenient to Montclair, Claremont, and La Verne, California as well. Pomona, nestled in the heart of the Inland Empire, offers a vibrant mix of attractions like the Fairplex, home to the LA County Fair, the Pomona Fox Theater, and the Downtown Pomona Arts District.

    Our supportive environment will give you a place to develop coping skills while also helping you address underlying mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety. We have created a well-rounded program that offers individual and group counseling, peer support, mindfulness skills, and tele-health counseling.

    We offer dispensing hours seven days a week (please check hours above) and are licensed by the state of California as a Narcotic Treatment Program. Our staff includes licensed counselors and a medical doctor. We accept Medicaid as well as many types of health insurance, including Blue Cross, Blue Shield, TriWest, Cigna, and Medicare Advantage.
